SIMI\u2019s Shared Chats feature gives you the flexibility to combine multiple related conversations and continue them together. This allows you to preserve valuable context while bringing different agents into an ongoing workflow.
Watch the video above to see merging conversations in action and learn more about how it works.
Sharing a Conversation with Another Agent
To begin, go to the Chats section and open the particular conversation you want to continue.
In the top-right corner, click Share. A pop-up will appear, allowing you to select the agent or agents you want to share the conversation with.
Select the agent or agents you want to continue the discussion with, then confirm your selection. The selected agents can now access the shared conversation and work from its existing context, allowing you to continue the discussion without starting from scratch.
Selecting Conversations to Continue
Navigate to the Shared Chats section and select the agent you want to continue the conversation with.
A list of all conversations shared with that agent will appear. From this list, select the conversation or conversations you want to continue. You can choose one conversation or multiple conversations, depending on your preference and the type of discussion you want to continue.
Selecting a single conversation allows you to continue one specific discussion, while selecting multiple conversations allows you to bring related discussions together.
Merging Conversations
After selecting the conversations you want to combine, click Merge.
SIMI will bring the selected conversations together so they can be used as a combined context for the next stage of your discussion. This is particularly useful when information relevant to the same task is spread across multiple conversations.
Once the conversations have been merged, go to the top-right corner and click Continue.
Continuing the Merged Conversation
After clicking Continue, type the message or instructions explaining how you want the conversation to proceed, then click Send.
The selected agent will use the merged conversations as context and continue the discussion based on your new instructions. This allows the agent to work with information from multiple previous conversations rather than relying on only one conversation.
You can use this to bring together related ideas, previous decisions, research, questions, or other information before asking the agent to continue the work.
