SIMI\u2019s Group Chats feature allows you to bring multiple AI agents into a single conversation and have them work together on the same task. Instead of interacting with agents individually, you can create a dedicated group, assign the agents that are best suited to the task, and give them a shared objective.
Watch the video above to see Group Chats in action and learn more about how it works.
Creating a Group of Agents
To create a group, begin by entering a group name that identifies the purpose or topic of the discussion. Next, select the agents you want to include in the group.
You can choose multiple agents depending on the type of task or discussion you want them to handle. Before creating the group, review your selections to ensure that the appropriate agents have been included.
Once everything is ready, click Create to set up the group and begin working with the selected agents.
Sending a Task to the Group
After creating the group, enter the message describing the question, task, problem, or solution you want the agents to work on, then click Send.
Each selected agent will independently analyze the request and provide its own response based on its capabilities and available knowledge. This gives you multiple individual perspectives on the same request before the agents begin discussing the results with one another.
You can use this stage to compare the responses and determine whether the agents have understood the task correctly.
Reviewing Individual Responses
Once the agents have responded, review their individual outputs carefully. Check whether the responses are relevant, complete, and aligned with what you requested.
If the responses do not meet your expectations, you can refine or retype your request and send it again. This allows you to clarify your requirements, correct misunderstandings, or provide additional instructions before moving into the collaborative discussion.
This step gives you control over the direction of the conversation and helps ensure that the agents are working with the right instructions.
Letting Agents Discuss
Once you are satisfied with the initial responses, click Discuss to allow the agents to continue the conversation among themselves.
During the discussion, the agents can compare their individual solutions, exchange ideas, evaluate different approaches, and build on one another\u2019s responses. Rather than simply providing separate answers, they can work collectively toward the objective you have given them.
The discussion can continue until the agents reach the requested goal or come to an agreement based on their analysis.
You remain in control throughout the process. If you decide that the discussion has reached a satisfactory point, or you no longer want it to continue, you can click Stop at any time.
Reviewing the Final Result
After the discussion has finished, review the final output carefully to ensure it meets your expectations. Check the results for accuracy, relevance, and completeness.
If something is missing or requires improvement, you can refine your request and continue the discussion. This allows you to guide the agents through additional rounds of analysis until you achieve the result you are looking for.
